Vision for Israel agreed to donate the finances needed to renovate and refurbish a synagogue in an army base in the north of Israel. After many months of work, the renovations were complete, and we were invited to the dedication of the synagogue. We toured the base and heard about its history and the vision they have for its future. The renovation and furnishing of the synagogue was donated by Vision for Israel as a tribute to Batya's parents. They loved soldiers and did a lot for them. Their house was open to host soldiers, especially those who needed a home and a hot meal. There's no doubt that the renovation of the synagogue for the use of soldiers symbolizes the values in which Batya's parents believed and preserves their memory appropriately.
